Recent viral clips and entertainment reporting in August–October 2025 show Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and his wife, Hon. Natasha Osawaru (often referred to publicly simply as Natasha Idibia), making rare public appearances with Natasha appearing heavily pregnant. This Epifia post compiles verified reporting, offers contextual background, highlights clear reasons Christians should pray (emotional, physical & spiritual), presents Scripture to root our intercession, and provides a long, shareable prayer that includes a plea for salvation in Christ.

Sample sources: Legit.ng, Ripples Nigeria, Guardian, Ripples/LindaIkeji and other Nigerian outlets reporting on viral clips and speculation. Reporting includes video of a UK airport sighting and social-media clips that fueled pregnancy rumors; many items emphasize the reports are unconfirmed by an official statement from the couple.

Recent developments — what was reported

In late August and into September 2025, multiple entertainment outlets published videos and short reports showing 2Baba and his wife Natasha arriving at a UK airport and in other public settings; in those clips Natasha appears to be pregnant, which sparked widespread social media discussion and news stories asserting she is “heavily pregnant.” Some outlets reported the video as a viral moment that fueled claims the couple are expecting their first child together since their wedding earlier in 2025. Several news sites noted the coverage is based on observation and viral clips rather than an official pregnancy announcement from the couple. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

About 2Baba & Natasha — life, public roles, and context

Innocent "2Baba" Idibia is one of Nigeria’s most famous musicians and a widely recognized Afrobeats pioneer. His career spans decades and includes international hits, awards, and a prominent public profile. In early 2025 2Baba’s personal life attracted intense public attention following widely covered relationship developments and a public separation from his former wife, Annie Idibia. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

Hon. Natasha Osawaru (Natasha Idibia) is reported to be an Edo State lawmaker or public figure and has received significant attention since being linked publicly to 2Baba. In 2025 she updated her social media bio to include the Idibia surname, and since the couple’s wedding earlier in 2025 she has appeared at public events with 2Baba. Some outlets and clips portray her in a flowing gown or with a visible baby bump in recent videos that circulated online.

Why Christians should pray — clear, simple reasons

Primary reason to pray: for Natasha’s physical and emotional well-being through pregnancy (if confirmed), for the couple’s family unity and wisdom, for protection from media pressure and gossip, and most importantly for salvation in Christ for all involved.

  1. Physical health & safe pregnancy: If Natasha is pregnant, pray for the pregnancy to be healthy and for the mother and baby to be protected through each stage (Psalms 139:13–14; Jeremiah 1:5).
  2. Emotional and mental well-being: High-profile pregnancies and public scrutiny can cause stress, anxiety, or fear—pray for peace, strength, and God’s presence to carry them through. (Philippians 4:6–7)
  3. Family unity and wise decisions: Pray for 2Baba, Natasha, and their extended family to receive wisdom, humility, and good counsel as they navigate public attention and private decisions. (James 1:5)
  4. Protection from harmful speculation: Pray that gossip, rumor, and intrusive coverage would be tempered by truth, discretion, and compassion from the public and media. (Proverbs 11:13)
  5. Public ministry and compassion: Pray that this season would be used to comfort, encourage, and support others—especially women facing complex family or pregnancy issues—and that resources for counseling and medical care be accessible to those in need. (2 Corinthians 1:3–4)
  6. Salvation: The most vital concern is spiritual—pray that Natasha, 2Baba, family members, and those who follow them would come to know Jesus, repent, and receive the gift of salvation. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10)

    Almighty God, Father of mercies and God of all comfort, we come before You on behalf of Hon. Natasha Osawaru and Innocent “2Baba” Idibia. You know their hearts, their private joys and fears, and the public spotlight they now carry. We lift them to You and ask first for your protecting hand over Natasha and the life she may be carrying. Keep mother and child safe, grant them health and strength through every stage, and guide the doctors, midwives and caregivers entrusted with their care. (Psalms 139:13–14)

    Lord, we ask for peace where anxiety threatens. The glare of public attention can wound; guard their minds and hearts from fear, slander, and needless stress. Surround them with wise counsel, faithful friends, and godly voices who speak truth and love. Help them to make decisions that honor You and protect their family. (Philippians 4:6–7)

    We pray for unity and humility in the home. Where there has been hurt, bring reconciliation; where there is pride, give humility; where there is confusion, give clarity. Protect their marriage and their children from division and harm. Let the family be a place of shelter, mutual honor, and godly leadership. (Ephesians 4:2–3)

    Father, we pray against gossip, rumor, and harmful speculation. Calm the tongues of those who would invade privacy for entertainment. Grant the public and the media discernment and compassion; may kindness be the loudest response rather than judgmental curiosity. (Proverbs 31:8–9)

    Most of all, Lord, we plead for souls. If Natasha, 2Baba, or any in their family do not yet know You in saving faith, we ask that You draw them near. Reveal the truth of the Gospel, soften hearts, and bring repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May this season of life and public attention become an avenue for gospel witness and eternal transformation. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9)

    Lord, bless those who will support them: family, friends, church leaders, and counselors. Provide practical help, medical resources, and spiritual care where needed. Use this moment to open doors for ministries and resources that aid expectant mothers and families. (Galatians 6:2)

    We entrust these prayers to Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who sees the hidden and binds up the broken. Bring healing, shelter, and hope—now and forever—through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
