About Pastor Raymond Koh and Amri Che Mat
Pastor Raymond Koh is a Malaysian pastor who was abducted in 2017. His disappearance led to a widespread search and an investigation that raised questions about the involvement of Malaysian authorities. Amri Che Mat, a Muslim activist, also disappeared under similar circumstances. The families of both men have been seeking justice and answers.
What Happened
The High Court initially awarded RM37 million in damages to Pastor Koh and the family of Amri Che Mat, citing the responsibility of the Malaysian government in their disappearances. However, the government appealed this decision, leading to the current stay of execution.
Why We Must Pray
As Christians, we are called to pray for those who are suffering and to seek justice and compassion. In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, we are reminded to pray for all people, including those in authority. We must pray for Pastor Koh, Amri Che Mat, and their families, asking God to bring them comfort, peace, and justice.
