Why We Must Pray

As Christians, we are called to pray for those in positions of power and influence, including our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1–2). We must also pray for their health, wellbeing, and salvation. In times of uncertainty and concern, prayer is a powerful way to show compassion and care for others.

Prayer Points

• Pray for Donald Trump's health and wellbeing, that he may be surrounded by loving care and support.
• Pray for his spiritual guidance and wisdom, that he may seek God's will in all his decisions.
• Pray for his relationships and interactions with others, that he may be a source of kindness, compassion, and understanding.

Scripture Reflection

In 1 Timothy 2:1–2, we are reminded to pray for those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives. Let us pray for Donald Trump and all our leaders, that they may be guided by God's wisdom and love.

The Bible also reminds us to 'love our neighbors as ourselves' (Mark 12:31). As we pray for Donald Trump, let us also show love, kindness, and compassion to those around us, reflecting the heart of Christ in all we do.
